Webinar: Back to the Origin - Vegetative Parts as Tools for Tree Identification

The purpose of urban forestry is to create a healthier way of living in our city. A connection with nature through urban forestry could help transcend our spiritualness. There are more than 300 native tree species in Hong Kong. It is fundamental for professional arborists to learn how to identify the tree species by their characteristics, related pests and diseases problems. For people interested in knowing more about trees, they could broaden horizons so as to have fun during their leisure time at a park. This time we have invited Mr. Mercury Wong to share his professional experience and guide us from the basic to the specific features of root, stem, branch and leaf of the trees selected.
